General Information & Company Policy

All orders are subject to the terms and conditions stated on this form which you have read and understood prior to ordering.

A signed Purchase Order and number are required for all orders placed with Trout Studios. Verbal Purchase Orders will not be accepted. Changes to a given Purchase Order must be received in writing within 2 business days of placement.


Trout Studios Suggested Retail Furniture Price List contains pricing for all Trout Studios Furniture items considered standard and usual. Consult our Customer Service Department at (512) 894-0774 for price quotes on custom designs or finishes. All prices are subject to change without notice.


Please note that the Geus Series is intended for UPS shipping – any furniture listed with a crate must ship via truck.


Our standard lead time on all Trout Studios furniture is 8-12 weeks maximum. Non UPS freight is COD. Our customers have the option of choosing their own carrier, however; Trout Studios is not responsible for any damage once furniture leaves the factory. All claims must be filed directly with the carrier.


Merchandise Claims and Returns
Any claim for defective merchandise or shortages must be made directly to the shipping company and to Trout Studios within 10 days of your receipt of the shipment in writing. Perfect stock merchandise may be returned to the factory within 30 days of its receipt.

A 25% restocking charge will be assessed to cover repackaging and administrative costs.


No returns accepted after 30 days. All returned merchandise must have a Returned Goods Authorization (RGA) number provided by Trout Studios. This number must be clearly marked on each carton returned. Credit for returned or defective merchandise will be applied to the Customer’s account. No refund checks will be issued.

Terms Discounts & Penalties
Trout Studios Must have a signed resale card to accept your purchase order or 8.25% CA. sales tax will be charged. Trout Studios is a small Company and for obvious reasons will offer its customer prepaid C.O.D. terms. Payments must be rendered in U.S. funds only.


Credits will remain valid for purchase orders of product for 18 months from the date of sale. If not used during those 18 months, it will no longer be valid.


A penalty of 5% of the invoice total will be added to all invoices for which payment is 15 days past due. Additional penalties will accrue for each 15 days late thereafter up to the limits allowed by applicable laws. Any cost incurred to enforce the collection of the invoice and penalties shall be added to the balance due; such costs may include, but are not limited to, reasonable attorney and/ or collection agency fees. Trout Studios may hold pending orders on overdue accounts.


Returned Checks
For each check returned to Trout Studios unpaid by a Customer’s bank, a $15 service charge will be added to the Customer’s outstanding balance. Returned checks may affect a Customer’s credit standing and terms.

Cabinetry: every effort has been made to finish our cabinets in the most protective way. Please exercise the caution you would with any fine wood.


Pewter Finish: tumbled aluminum


Polished pieces: in response to popular request, Trout Studios is now offering all of its cast line in a beautiful polished finish. Polished pieces often show irregularities in the metal and can vary from piece to piece. Polished finishes are prone to tarnish and scratching. Return will not be accepted for irregularities, tarnish or scratching.


Sales on custom pieces are final.
